Professional Positions

The Sheriff’s Office has a diverse workforce of over 1,800 sworn and non-sworn staff.  Of those 1,800, about 400 are non-sworn.  Professional staff provides critical support to the entire organization in the areas of human resource, budget and accounting, information technology, fingerprint comparison and identification, clerical and administrative.  Sheriff’s Office staff enjoy the same great salary and benefits offered to employees of the County of Santa Clara.  We are looking for candidates to contribute to our mission of providing innovative and progressive service in partnership with the community we serve.
