Based upon recent changes to the law, and changes to standards and practices promulgated by the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training, the Sheriff’s Office has been undergoing a comprehensive revision of its Law Enforcement and Custodial General Orders and the Sheriff’s Policy Manual. The Sheriff’s Office will provide revised versions of those documents on this site when they are published.
