Training Requests

If you wish to attend a training outside of Santa Clara County, you must submit this form at least four weeks prior to the first day of class.

If your training has costs associated with it (registration, meals, lodging, flights, etc.) and/or you request cash advance, you must submit the form at least six weeks prior to the first day of class.

Training Request Process

Once the request is completed by you, submit it to your supervisor, and then the Captain of your division. Once they approve your request, email the signed form to Vaishakhi Desai at [email protected] or mail it to the Training Unit at Richey Training Center (155 W. Hedding St. San Jose, CA 95110)

You will hear of your approved request within two weeks of submission.
