Pursuit Collision

On May 22, 2017, at approximately 9:50pm, Sheriff’s Deputies attempted to make contact with occupants in a suspicious vehicle parked at a gas station on Commercial Street in San Jose.There was a male in his 50s seated in the driver’s position of the vehicle, a white Toyota Avalon. As deputies approached the vehicle, the driver quickly accelerated in reverse striking a patrol vehicle. The Toyota fled the gas station trying to evade the deputies.
