On Sunday, June 10, 2018, at approximately 2:38 PM, Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the 11500 block of Columbet Avenue in Unincorporated Gilroy.A female adult reported to deputies that her neighbor unlawfully entered her home, attacked her, and attempted to remove her clothing. The female defended herself from attack and escaped her own home. However, the suspect pursued her outside, attempting to drag her back into the residence. Fortunately, the victim fought the man off and ran to get help.
