SCU Lightning Complex Fire Information

The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office has deployed numerous deputies and resources to assist fire personnel battling the SCU Lightning Complex fires on Mount Hamilton in San Jose.  Sheriff’s Deputies are primarily assisting with evacuations of residents in the area.  We are doing everything we can to keep our community safe.  For anyone who has been directly impacted by the fires, the following locations are active Temporary Evacuation Points (TEP) that are open to the public.  These Temporary Evacuation Points have food, water and resources available.

  • ​Milpitas Library (160 N. Main Street, Milpitas, CA)
  • Ann Sobrato High School (401 Burnett Avenue, Morgan Hill, CA)
  • Creekside Middle School (535 Peregrine Drive, Patterson, CA)
