On October 15, 2019 at approximately 12:55am, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) Light Rail Station, located at 353 West Virginia Street in San Jose for a report of a person stuck underneath a train. The involved train (Alum Rock/Santa Teresa line) was travelling southbound and headed towards the Santa Teresa Light Rail Station in San Jose.
