The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office is temporarily suspending all social visits to inmates at the Main Jail located at 150 W. Hedding St. in San Jose and the Elmwood Correctional Complex located at 701 S. Abel St. in Milpitas effective immediately. Any scheduled visits from now until April 7, 2020, will be cancelled. This moratorium will last for the scheduled “Shelter in Place” Order set by the Santa Clara County Public Health Department. Legal visits (window only) may continue as scheduled.
