Woman with Firearm Standoff and Arrest

On 07/12/2022 at approximately 0947 hours, Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a welfare check located in the area of N. Bascom Avenue at Bel Air Avenue, in San Jose. Upon arrival, deputies located a despondent female adult sitting on the curb line of Bel Air Avenue holding a loaded firearm and knife. The female adult was later identified as Chen Mo, a resident of San Jose. Additional deputies immediately responded to the location in an attempt to establish communication with Mo.
